Suggested Protocol
Research-scale protocols vary. IV bolus 600–1200mg has been described in small clinical studies of oxidative-stress endpoints; SC and nebulised routes are also represented in specialist research literature. A 200mg vial supports several pilot-dose sessions for biomarker-response characterisation. Parenteral bioavailability is the central pharmacokinetic question and informs study design more than dose size alone.
Glutathione — chemically γ-L-glutamyl-L-cysteinyl-glycine — is the primary intracellular thiol-based antioxidant in mammalian cells, present at millimolar concentrations inside virtually every cell type and operating as the main reductant for the glutathione peroxidase family of enzymes, the recycling substrate for ascorbate and α-tocopherol, and the conjugation partner for glutathione S-transferase-mediated xenobiotic elimination. The γ-glutamyl linkage (rather than an α-peptide bond) gives it resistance to ordinary proteases and is what lets it circulate and function as a tripeptide at all.

Study-Observed Effects
Pilot-scale research vial for dose-response characterisation
γ-glutamyl linkage makes GSH protease-resistant and circulation-stable
Primary intracellular reductant substrate for glutathione peroxidase
Recycling partner for ascorbate and α-tocopherol redox cycles
Appropriate starting size before scaling to 600mg or 1500mg protocol work
Mechanism is redox cofactor, not receptor-agonist pharmacology

Abaloparatide 3mg — the FDA-approved PTHrP-based osteoanabolic analog (Tymlos, 2017), structurally engineered from parathyroid-hormone-related protein rather than PTH itself to bias the receptor-binding conformation and improve the anabolic-to-catabolic ratio in bone.
